Definitive Answer about PC Release?

I know it was talked about a few threads ago but I didn't notice any official answers. Some web sites list Shadow Complex as being released only for the X-Box 360 as a buyable download. Other web sites have Shadow Complex as being released for both the X-Box 360 and the PC. Can we get a official answer? Please :) ?

I own a X-Box 360 Arcade but I couldn't afford one that came with a Hard-Drive. I have yet to purchase a hard-drive as money is real tight, but I'm saving. It would just be way simpler for me to buy Shadow Complex in a store on a disk or to buy it as a Digital Download on Steam for the PC.

Please, Please, Pleeeeaaasssseeee tell me Shadow Complex will be out for PC's some time soon. The game looks Seriously Awesome and I'm dying to play it. It truly does look like a "Spiritual Successor" to Super Metroid though I'm sure it's more then Awesome enough to stand in it's own right. I really want to play this killer game. Any good word from a staff member?

Oh just a thought, will it be sold on disk in stores anywhere? Or exclusively as a download?

I know that wink means nothing but may you clear it up that you are not in fact hinting us that a PC version of Shadow Complex is in the works? Secondly, The PC market is one of the best for games that are download only. I would say it to be the best but it would spark off a bunch of Xbox fanboys. Anyway, the point is that Epic are on Steam already and seem to be doing fairly well from it. Now, I understand that Chair might think it is THEIR game but Epic are probably the reason this game is gonna sell well.
The final reason is that if you do in fact like PC games, could you give us a reason that you are not supporting us?

Thank you again m'lady Flak. The information you provide is most helpful. It seems I'll be buying that hard drive soon. I wanted to save for a larger one as my PC has two 1 Terabyte HD's in it and I can see that I'll be transfering some things over to my X-Box by putting them on the drive but if I get one sooner rather then later I'll have to go with a smaller drive. Not sure what the limit is on a X-Box drive anyway. I know it has to be a notebook drive. I'm not sure if it has to be a certain brand or speed...hmm. Time to do some research I guess.

I don't want to bore you all with details but I'm going through some health issues and I haven't been able to work in quite a while so money is a big issue right now. My doctors and meds eat almost every spare cent. I do what I can to make some money here from home but that's spotty at best. I don't suppose Epic or Chair could use a tester or anything and pay me with a small hard-drive huh? ;) lol I can dream....*sigh* Damn I want to play Shadow Complex. This game looks so killer I can taste it.

I found that link too brother. I assume it's wrong as most of the Major gaming sites don't have Shadow Complex listed for the PC. That site probably just jumped the gun and figured since Microsoft was involved it would be ported over to PC.

I hear you buddy. Let me tell you something. Don't give in quite yet. Wait for a month or two. Besides, I don't let go of things Epic do today. Over in the Gears of War forum, I have a 55 page thread concerning Gears of War 2 for PC and I intend to do the same here. Epic have no right to treat PC gamers like this, we are the ones who started them off. I just hope that Chair and Epic test the PC market again with this game because it WILL sell well if available for Digital Distribution.

Microsoft has not ported anything to PC since 2007.

I applaud your convictions my friend. If you make a post I'll support it. From my experience though most "exclusives" stay exclusive for at least a year and then they are ported over and only then if they sold well enough that they can see a port would make money. The world is all about money, especially with economies everywhere in shambles. My hope is they will come out with a XBLA Compilation disk with all the "Summer of Arcade" games on it together. That's probably a big leap with a lot of legal red tape involved though.
