To anyone with an Xbox 360, I think we all know by now that Advent Rising is one of the few games still not made backwards compatible by Microsoft. My question is, what can we do to fix that?
Tim Schafer, founder of Double Fine and maker of Psychonauts, another Majesco game, got enough gamers to help him apply pressure to Microsoft to get them to make it a priority. While we don't have numbers, we do have us and the Mustard Brothers. So, to you, Chair, I ask if you can help get Advent Rising made backwards compatible?

Yay! I was afraid I'd killed Chair somehow.
Anyway, thanks for the /sign.

lol. I remember what Tim Schafer requested. "If you have to, tell them you're a sick and dieing child and that your last wish would be for Psychonauts to be made backward compatible." I did that with both Psychonauts and Advent Rising as well as Deus Ex, Oddworld: Stranger, and Breakdown on my list.

Nice! I'm hoping they add Breakdown to the list as well; I just picked up a copy, but I'm too lazy to haul out my Xbox and play it.

Duke Nukem 3D laughs at your remark as I sit there playing it without sound due to my sound card being more modern than it supports.

There are supposedly a few ways to fix it, but I haven't managed to make any of them work yet. I'm still trying though.
For any other game, I would agree that at least I can play it, but not Duke 3D. Duke Nukem was all about the cheesy one-liners that he would spit out. "It's time to kick ass or chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum."

Yeah, that's what I thought... 'til I played FF7 on Windows 95 and had to reformat the hard drive, thanks to the fat that it messes with the registry of Win95... Then I installed FF7 again... Dude, I don't know what's worse: Meteor or Registry Errors?

Play it safe. say both :D Yeah i know, most of the real classic games aren't but many more are, compared to consoles that is.

Dude, I got a laptop with Window's Vista. That blasted system! I decided to try ONE game: Diablo 2. And, well, I bet you know what happened: the computer crashed about 6 times before I uninstalled the game and found out that I can't play it. Aww... :(
That's why I kept all my original Nintendo systems. That's right: I can play the original Final Fantasy! Sweetness...
